I became a life coach to help people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next step to gain clarity, build a plan, and take action toward a better life. At the age of 33, I unexpectedly lost my dear husband, Jeremy. So many friends and family devastated by his loss, including our two children, and together we journeyed the long path of grief. Through the confusion and feelings of being lost and stuck in a life we never expected, the loving support from all those around us gave me the clarity of who I wanted to be in this new life. Years later we grew our family and moved to be with them in the incredibly beautiful Appalachian mountains. This is where I was able to pursue my passion of helping others who felt lost and broken, where I learned most people don’t need motivation-they need a clear plan and someone to help them follow through. I learned how to give not just support but also direct in challenging your thinking to help you find what is holding you back and keep you focused on real progress. Through the Health Coach Institute I became a certified Life Coach and Advanced Health and Wellness Coach. I am currently in the process of becoming board certified with the National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC). This is the highest of credentials in the industry, and I am excited to bring this advanced knowledge to all of my clients.
